David has been in the banking and financial services industries for 35 years. After his early years in Building Societies he moved into the financial services side of the banking industry in the 1990s. After a brief spell in management with St. James's Place he joined the St. James's Place Partnership in 2003.
David believes in establishing long lasting relationships with his clients offering a full range of financial services to the extended family and their friends and colleagues.

In recent years he has developed a particular expertise in advising those clients who are either in care or about to enter the care system. David is a fully accredited SOLLA Adviser (Society of Later Life Advisers) and is qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner through the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
David’s role as Chairman is to ensure that the Culture, Processes, Values and Messaging of the business align to the Vision of Paul’s and the Executive team can draw on his expertise and skills at any-time. He is a huge fan of family life and travels extensively - classical music and wise words are never far away from our David.
