We believe our investment process provides our clients with the best chance to achieve superior returns over the medium to long term.
Q: Why should I have a Financial Adviser with SeventySeven Wealth Management and what do they do?
We believe in good old fashioned face to face advice, whether in person or via one of our many Web based platforms. All of our clients have a close and personal relationship with a dedicated adviser who will assess your financial needs and offer guidance and advice in order to best plan for the future.
We help and advise our clients on the correct approach to help achieve their short term and long term goals, encompassing all aspects and needs from cash savings and Investment planning through to retirement advice, inheritance tax and later life planning.
At an initial meeting our financial advisers will answer any questions that you may have and spend time to get to know you and understand your goals. They will ask detailed questions and carry out a ‘fact find’ to gather all of the relevant information before coming back to you with a recommendation, from that point on to is up to you.
We enjoy nothing more than looking after our clients and building long and trusted relationships but know that the most important question for a client is ‘Are we right for you?’. Ask yourself, do I like these people? Do I feel comfortable with these people looking after me and my family? Do I feel that these people can make a positive difference?
All of our advisers are fully qualified with a wealth of experience and all of our advice is provided with the St. James’s Place Guarantee. In addition, we have a number of in house specialists who are always on hand when things may get a little more complex as they can do in the world of Retirement Planning, Trust and Estate Planning and Long Term Care as well as certain areas of Tax such as Agricultural Relief, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.
Q: What is a Fact Find?
Simply put, a Fact Find is a process, a ‘check list’ of questions and an established methodology of ensuring we build a detailed picture of you and your circumstances before presenting any advice to you.
Q: What information do I need to have for a meeting?
The advice that we give has to be based upon the information that is made available to us by you. We will ask you logical questions in the Fact Find to attain this information. The more relevant information you can bring, copies of statements, ID etc are all part of building a picture in order to help before making any recommendations to you.
Q: What does an initial meeting cost?
Our initial meetings are not charged for - we would like to meet and give you the time without any obligation or financial commitment.
Our advisers will, based upon your personal information, discuss the options for you to decide what you would like to do - following this and should you decide to select services and products that are offered, we will give you a detailed illustration of fees, structure and next steps.
Q: How long does a meeting take?
We typically allocate a couple of hours for the first meeting. We do not however, rush or put any pressure on timescales with your decisions, we pride ourselves at SeventySeven to understand that no two circumstances are the same and work with you to ensure you feel fully informed before you make any decisions.
Q: Are there costs if I decide I do not want to proceed?
No - fees for products are only taken at point of Investment.
Q: Who is a typical client for SeventySeven Wealth Management Ltd?
We have a diverse range of clients, we support those who simply seek to attain the best for their financial circumstances. The phrase Wealth Management can seem a confusing and intimidating term, as we find that everyone has a different perspective on the word ‘Wealth’.
The majority of our clients have said, ‘we don’t have enough money to invest with you’ or ‘I didn’t realise what I had and what could be done’.
Whether you are in a career and planning for your financial future, organising on behalf of your family or maybe on the cusp of retirement and want to ensure efficiency & enjoyment with your finances what is clear to us is that Wealth Management is a highly valued service to our clients and needed in all aspects of your life. We encourage you to come to our offices and ask the questions that you have and listen to your options without any obligation to commit.
Q: Is there a typical Investment threshold for SeventySeven Wealth Management?
No. We understand that money and wealth are relative. Our only two criteria for a client is that we can make a positive difference and that our advice is taken seriously.
Q: I have no new money to invest, so I assume I don’t need an adviser?
Wealth Management is not simply for those who have large sums of money to invest. A lot of what we do is holistic planning and structuring our clients’ money, both existing and new, to ensure that it is meeting their needs and objectives. This can involve their personal and business affairs.
Q: I already have received advice, so there is no need to speak to you.
People often confuse speaking to an adviser years ago, as having received advice. Advice is an ongoing process, which involves planning and regularly reviewing client’s individual circumstances. Life is ever changing, so your investments and strategies also need to adapt over time.
Q: Do I have to come to the offices to have a meeting with a Financial Adviser?
No - you can decide how we interact with you. We offer home visits, office meetings and can offer Telephone meetings or FaceTime (or similar) - simply put we seek to put you and your needs at the core of what we do. We have however, developed an ideal environment for you to have total focus, comfort and privacy at our offices and an open atmosphere for you to meet the support team. We welcome you as our Guests.
Q: What if I move area and am no longer local to you for meetings?
We have many clients that have moved away, live abroad or have busy careers. They tend to enjoy the relationships that are created and we simply use technology to support our clients.
Q: How easy is it to withdraw my investments?
Most circumstances allow us to withdraw your investment within 7-10 working days however, as part of the Wealth Management Service we will advise you of any Tax implications and charges.
Pensions and more complex arrangements have criteria that you would be advised upon at the beginning.
Q: Can I bring a Friend or Family member?
Yes - absolutely, we want you to be as comfortable and reassured as you need with your visit. Couples married or not often attend to discuss their circumstances and parents often prefer to have their children involved in more complex family matters.

Yes, our new offices have been specifically designed with this in mind.

Yes we can - please contact us to discuss your requirements.
